Did you know...
Motion data is captured DURING most of our film rides! This means that the motion which is reproduced in the pods is EXACTLY what was felt at the time of filming—whether it be on 2 wheels, four wheels, or even horseback!

Motion hydraulics
Feel every bump, turn, pitch and yaw...
Similar to the flight simulation systems used by aircraft and aerospace industries, the Morphis pod employs a custom designed three axis hydraulic system to provide the ultimate reproduction of motion.
For the technically minded, the system has a pitch, roll and 'scissor' style motion system, provided by rapid response hydraulic rams and proportional valves—all controlled by the master computer.
So what does all that mean?
It means, if you're inside the pod experiencing a horse race from the jockey's point of view, not only will you SEE every jump, landing and turn—but you'll FEEL them too.
Motion data is either captured during the filming of the ride movie, or added by skilled motion technicians afterwards. This means that even the virtual rides which could never exist in the real world, such as Astro Canyon, the space rollercoaster, have realistic motion to accompany the visual experience.
But is it safe?
Of course. Once you are inside the pod, you become totally immersed in the experience. The outside world is totally shut out, and small and controlled movements are relayed to the pod by the hydraulics. If you watch the demo movie playing on the right, you'll see that the pod hardly moves, but combined with the immersive video inside, you feel like you're looping the loop or pulling high G-force turns. All perfectly safely, and all in total control.
