Did you know...

The Morphis MovieRide Theatre's motion is three dimensional, and is facilitated by a custom designed 3-axis hydraulic system made especially for entertainment!

So just what is the Morphis MovieRide 'Pod'?

At the heart of our mobile simulators is the Morphis MovieRide Theatre Capsule. We like to call it 'the pod'.

With it's sexy looks, futuristic curves and shiny exterior, you'd be forgiven for thinking the 'pod' is straight from a science fiction movie.

Inside the air-conditioned pod are 20 seats, specifically designed for comfort and ease of access, also giving an unobstructed view of the screen.

GT Promotions are proud to have the first fully equipped 3D pods in Europe, meaning with the help of special glasses worn during the ride, objects will literally jump from the screen.

Once inside the pod, riders are guaranteed safety via electronic sensors, back-up batteries and emergency systems in place.

Each pod is capable of using interchangeable ride films, each filmed in glorious DVD quality digital video, accompanied by 3D-Surround Sound courtesy of our amazing Sardis system, all streamed to the screen from hard disc from the amazing Morphis computer control system.

The pod is mounted on a three-axis hydraulic system, which is electronically controlled from the main computer to provide realistic movement to accompany the film.

'Motion data' is recorded during the making of the films, and the data is then played back with the movie, allowing the hydraulic system to replicate the motion experienced during filming. This is one of the most accurate and immersive systems to date, and is pretty close to the real thing.

The Morphis pod rides on the back of a custom designed trailer, which houses all the control systems, independent power supplies, and merchandising area. The whole rig can be moved from one event to another with ease, making Morphis a truly transportable solution.
